Meals (vegetarian and chicken) are generally ordered “family style”, with dishes to share, so that by the journey’s end, you will have experienced a wide array of Indian food and local Rajasthani cuisine. Alternatives (Chinese and snack foods) are available in most places.
.The accommodations are included, with mid-level (roughly 3 star) hotels chosen for their beauty, cleanliness, customer service and/or convenience to other sites, and the tour fee is based on twin-share rooms. We do our best to provide locally-owned hotels committed to responsible tourism. There are no international, luxury chains; many are art-filled or operate as a social enterprise.
The 2019 India Tour Fee is $2950, (same as the 2018 tour!) and includes all breakfasts, most lunches and dinners, admission to all sites and guides, private driver with air conditioned vehicle, airport transfers, and the escort fee of your tour leader, and mid-level hotels, based on shared occupancy.
Not included in this fee: your international flight, tipping, a few meals, personal expenses, and expenses when you veer from the group/itinerary. For single occupancy, add $500. This small group tour is limited to 4-8 persons and is expected to fill!
A non-refundable registration fee of $800 will hold your place and is due no later than September 1, 2018. Apply early, as we expect this tour to fill! $1150 is due October 1 . The remainder of the trip fee (and your single supplement, if applicable) is due December 1, 2018. You will be invoiced for each payment, so they are payable with credit card. The tour requires a minimum of 4 to be offered, and will be capped at a maximum of 8.
