INDIGO + SHIBORI
Thursday October 4 2019 6-8pm
Indigo, the only natural dye of a blue hue, has a long and rich history across many countries and cultures, from Indonesia to India, to Laos and Turkey. We are offering a unique opportunity to use indigo dye that Kim Hammer personally sourced in Kutch, India, from world-class artisans who are printing and dyeing with natural pigments.
In this 2 hour workshop, you will be given 2 pieces of cotton fabric plus one scarf, and you are welcome to bring additional fabrics or t shirts to dye.
